Tavares High School is a high school located in Tavares, Florida, United States, and is one of seven public high schools operated by Lake County Schools in Lake County, Florida. The school is made up of approximately 1,224 students,[1] and the current principal is Janice Boyd.
Band
The band program at Tavares High consists of two jazz bands: the White and Red Jazz Bands, and two concert bands, named: The Symphonic Band and The Wind Ensemble, plus a marching band, "The Big Red Band." As of 2016, there was an estimated 130 members of band. The current band Director is Andrew Dubbert who has been at the school since 2013.
