Tauranga City United AFC is an amateur football (soccer) club in Tauranga, New Zealand. They compete in the Lotto Sport Italia NRFL Division 1.
Tauranga City AFC was formed in 1967. In 2000 it changed its name to Tauranga City United when it was relocated by the Tauranga City Council to the former Mt Maunganui AFC ground at Links Avenue, Mt Maunganui.
Club history
TCU's best Chatham Cup season was in 2002, when they reached the final, only to be defeated by Napier City Rovers 2–0.
Tauranga City United played in the New Zealand National Soccer League from 2000 to 2003.
