Tasc (Think tank for Action on Social Change) [1] is an Irish left wing think tank.[2] It was established in 2001, and its stated goal is "the achievement of a more equal, flourishing society with accountable government and strong, responsible public engagement."[3] Tasc's work draws on, and is supported by, an extensive Economists' Network.[4]
Tasc has been associated with members of the Labour Party and Sinn Féin. The Phoenix magazine described the group as "on the left fringes of the Labour Party."[5]
