Tarentola nicolauensis (English name: São Nicolau wall gecko) is a species of geckos in the family Phyllodactylidae. The species is endemic to the Cape Verde Islands.[1] The species was named in by Hans Hermann Schleich in 1984.
The species are found in the islands of São Vicente and São Nicolau, it may once be founded in the island of Santa Luzia.[1]
Taxonomy
The subspecies were elevated from Tarentola caboverdiana nicolauensis by Vasconcelos, Perera, Geniez, Harris & Carranza en 2012.[2]
