Then, she earned her first Ph.D. degree in physical chemistry from the same university in 2002.[21] She carried out her postdoctoral studies in nanotechnology and engineering at École Polytechnique de Montréal in 2011. She received her second master's degree (M.Sc.) in molecular biology from the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) in 2011.[22] She received her third master's degree (M.A.) in philosophy from UQAM in 2016.[23]

Some of her papers were published in Plos One,[48] Materials Science and Engineering,[49] Journal of Biomedical Nanotechnology,[50] Applied Surface Science[51], Canadian Journal of Chemistry[52], Journal of Nanoparticle Research[53], Materials Science and Engineering[54] and Journal of Biological Chemistry[55].

Her research works include a variety of themes, such as thermal stability of mirrors when exposed to the synchrotron radiation,[56] stabilization of antisense oligonucleotides,[57] molecular cloning and regulation of gene expression,[58] biomedical effects and hemocompatibility of biomaterials,[59] surface properties of chemicals[60] physicochemical characterization and analysis of microelectrode arrays[61] and bactericidal properties of nanomaterials.[62]

Philosophy

Taraneh Javanbakht's works are in several branches of philosophy. Her philosophical system, netism, including her theories in metaphysics, analytical philosophy, ethics and political philosophy, was published in the Journal of New Philosophy by the Tabatabai University in Iran in 2011 and 2012[63][64] and by the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) in 2016.[65] Some other parts of netism, including the aesthetics and epistemology, were republished by the Center for the Great Islamic Encyclopedia in 2016.[66]

The genealogy, according to netism, has three steps: the Being tendential of itself, which is the universe, 2. the being tendential of himself that is the human being in his first step of existence, and 3. the being detendential of himself that is the human being in his second step of existence, who reduces continuously the tendencies of repetition in his life.[67]

Her theory in cognitive science, the demarcator theory, is in opposition with the prototype theory and exemplar theory. The demarcator theory was published by the Université du Québec à Montréal in 2016. This theory, in difference with these two mentioned theories, explains why, when and how human beings distinguish or confound the categories of concepts.[68]

She introduced and developed the tendential logic, a new logic with applications in sciences, philosophy, literature, arts and social movements. The tendential logic and its applications were published by the Université du Québec à Montréal in 2016.[69] Her works on different models showed that the combination of the tendential logic with the other non-classical logics, such as fuzzy logic and modal logic, is appropriate to model the human cognitive disorders.[70]

Her other philosophical articles were republished by the Tebyan Cultural Institute in 2008[71], the Iranian Students News Agency in 2004 [72] and the National Content Consortium in 2013.[73]
