Tali Lennox (born Tali Fruchtmann; 9 February 1993) is a British model, artist,[4] and actress,[5] who used to work for Topshop and Burberry.[6] As of 2014 she reduced her modelling focus and became a portrait painter.[7] She is the daughter of Scottish singer Annie Lennox and Israeli record producer Uri Fruchtmann.[8]

Career

In spring 2011 she appeared in various fashion houses, including Acne Studios, Christopher Kane, Prada, and Miu Miu. In September 2012, she moved to New York City, where she took acting classes in the winter of 2013 with Susan Batson as her teacher.[5]

Personal life

Lennox's longtime boyfriend was American artist and model Ian Jones, aged 32.[9] On August 8, 2015 (a Saturday) Lennox was kayaking with Jones on the Hudson River, when their dual kayak capsized. Tali was rescued by strangers on a passing boat, but Jones could not be found. A search for him was carried out[1] until 10 August, (Monday) when a body was found matching his description.[10] This was identified on August 11 as that of Jones.[11] After autopsy, the cause of death was found to be "consistent with drowning", and accidental.[11] Jones's funerals were held on August 17 in his home state of Pennsylvania and attended by Tali, her mother Annie and her sister Lola.[12]
