Taiko Katono (上遠野 太洸 Katōno Taikō, born October 27, 1992 in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan[2]) is a Japanese actor and model who is affiliated with Evergreen Entertainment. He is best known for his role as the character, Chase/Mashin Chaser/Kamen Rider Chaser, from the Kamen Rider series Kamen Rider Drive.
Biography
While in high school that aimed in the teachers in 2010, Katono entered the 23rd Junon Super Boy Contest from a document sent from his mother, he would like to aim the entertainment industry into in the process of going through the examination.[1][3] At the final selection meeting of the same year in November, he was awarded the Grand Prix from among the 5,132 applicants.[4]
In March 2011, Katono's showbiz debut was in the compilation album Tokyo Ragga Lovers2 as a jacket model.[5] In the same year in May, his actor debut in raising an army performances was formed in synchronous winner of Junon Super Boy Contest Gekiotoko JB,[1] after that he appeared in a number of television dramas, films, and stage plays.[6] In 2012, Katono was selected in the magazine The Television Zoom!! Vol. 7 The Year the Expectation of the U-22 Actor as number one.[7]
In 2014, he served as the stage's first starring in the Japan tour of New York City's transvestite ballet Grand Diva. Even though he has no experience of ballet, Katono received a special training is over in New York for the same stage.[1][8]
