Taft[1] (Persian: تفت) is a city in and the capital of Taft County, Yazd Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 15,329, in 4,265 families.[2]

Sadri garden (Bagh-e Namir) of Taft dates back to almost 200 years ago and its area is about 12000 square meters. It is in Bagh-e Golestan neighborhood in south-eastern Taft beside the Taft river which runs along the Yazd-Shiraz road.
