Szczawne [ˈʂt͡ʂavnɛ] (Ukrainian: Щавне, Shchavne) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Komańcza, within Sanok County, in the Subcarpathian Voivodeship (province) of south-eastern Poland, close to the border with Slovakia.[1] It lies approximately 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) north-east of Komańcza, 18 kilometres (11 miles) south of Sanok, and 71 kilometres (44 miles) south of the regional capital Rzeszów.
The village has a population of 400.
