Patania aedilis is a moth in the Crambidae family. It was described by Meyrick in 1887. It is found in Australia, where it has been recorded from Queensland.[1]

The wingspan is about 20 millimetres (0.79 in). Adults are grey with white markings. There are two black edged white marks on the forewing costa. The hindwings have a white margin.[2]
