TAFE NSW in Sydney (formerly The Sydney Institute of Technology) is a public tertiary education provider that has been operating since 1891[1]. It has seven colleges across eight campuses, with main head office in Sydney in Ultimo. Sydney TAFE is the 2014 Winner of the prestigious National Travel Industry Awards for training. This institute has also been awarded the Australian Training Awards International Training Provider of the Year, 2012 Winner and 2013 finalist. Sydney TAFE is owned and operated under the parent company TAFE NSW which was established in 1833, under the TAFE Commission Act 1990.[2]
