The Swiss Taxpayers Federation (German: Bund der Steuerzahler (BdS)) is an association established in 1995.

Based in Zurich, it has strong links with the Swiss People's Party.[1] Its main aims are the reduction of taxation and public spending, as well as the reduction of bureaucracy and public debt. It boasts 2,900 members.[2]

The Federation attempts to discover cases of tax money laundering and denounces them to the public. In “important” cases they will file a complaint. The goals of the federation are simple and just tax laws, fewer taxes and duties and criminal prosecution for tax evasion. The Swiss Taxpayer Federation fights against tax increases, “wasting” of tax money and bureaucratism and authority.
