Swati Sharma is Indian Bollywood singer[1]. She is born on 4 October 1994 in Muzaffarpur Bihar. She has done schooling from Adarsh Vidya Mandir which is in Muzaffarpur. She completed her graduation from Shobhit University, Meerut. Her forefathers originally belong from Rajasthan.[2]

Background

She learned Indian classical from Guru Shri Pankaj Maharaj ji and has graduated in music from Sangeet Visharad from Prachin Kala Kendra Chandigarh. She started singing from the age of seven years old. [3]

Her journey started by the support of her parents who probably happened to hear by her mom when she was humming the song of Adnan Sami, “Dil keh reha hai dil se.” After that day, her dad noticed her singing and wanted her to pursue her dreams in signing career. A child prospers and successes when there is a family push and becomes the pillar for one’s endeavours. He supported her to moved to Mumbai and chase her dreams.[4]

Career

The song, “Banno tera swagger” which was blockbuster from Tanu weds Manu Return and got name and fame from her first hit song. She got nominated for Sony Guild Awards for “Banno tera Swagger” from Tanu weds Manu Return.[5] She released her first single with Zee music company, “Kyun kho gaye” which got appreciated over YouTube. A song that gave her popularity from a female cover version of “Bhula dena mujhe” from Aashiqui 2 over YouTube.

Big personalities that she has worked with are Sonu Nigam, KK, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Arijit Singh, Ash King, Nikhil D'Souza, Aman Trikha, Brijesh Sandilya and beyond…She has given her voice for various genres all romantic, pathos, rock, soft rock, dance numbers etc. Her contribution to the television industry has given “Sajan ka Pyar hai crazy” for May I come-in madam for Life Ok channel.
