The Sussex Cricket League is the top level of competition for recreational club cricket in Sussex, England, and since 1999 the Premier Division has been a designated ECB Premier League.[1] The league has eight divisions, and from 2017 1st XI and 2nd XI teams will play in a single set of divisions. There will no longer be separate divisions for 2nd XIs. There was formerly also a division for 3rd XIs.

Guernsey Sarnians joined Division 2 of the Sussex Cricket League in 2016 after Sussex clubs voted unanimously to allow the island team to join the competition.[2]

Teams

2017 Premier Division Teams

Ansty, Bexhill, Brighton and Hove, Cuckfield, East Grinstead, Hastings & St Leonards Priory, Horsham, Middleton, Preston Nomads, and Roffey.

Two teams will be relegated at the end of the season.

2017 Division Two Teams

Billingshurst, Bognor Regis, Eastbourne, Guernsey Sarnians, Ifield, Lindfield, Mayfield, Portslade, St James's Montefiore, Three Bridges, and Worthing.

Two teams will be promoted and two relegated at the end of the season. Guernsey Sarnians are not eligible for promotion or relegation.
