Susan O'Malley (artist)
Susan O’Malley (1976–2015)[1] was an artist from San Francisco's Bay Area.[2]
She is the author of the book Advice From My 80-Year-Old Self (Chronicle Books, 2016), reviewed by Leila Easa in Art Practical.[3] In fall of 2016, her artwork of the same name was installed in the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.[4]
O’Malley received her MFA from California College of the Arts’ Social Practice Area. While Curator and Print Center Director at the San Jose ICA (2006–2011) O’Malley oversaw the production of over 50 exhibitions and programs.[5]
