Surutapalli (also called Surutupalle) is a village in Chitoor district of Andhra Pradesh state close to the border of Tamil Nadu, India. Surutapalli is located 60 km away from Chennai on the Chennai Tirupati highway near Uthukottai.[1]
Tourism
Palli Kondeswara Temple is a famous Hindu temple dedicated to the god Shiva located in Surutapalli and it is one of the famous tourist and pilgrimage destination in chittoor district. In this temple we can see Lord Siva in sleeping posture on the lap of Sarvamangala Devi (Parvati Devi) and such unique poster of lord shiva is no where else in the world.[2]
