Summit Awards
The Summit International Awards grants awards for excellence in creativity and effectiveness of advertising and communication content.
Founded in 1994, the organization has served the segment of the industry consisting primarily of advertising and other communication companies and individuals. Jocelyn Luciano is the Executive Director of the organization.
The Summit International Awards, an independent, international competition organization, focuses on creating a community of marketing effectiveness and creative excellence and recognizing outstanding achievements. It is dedicated to furthering excellence in the communications industry and administers rigorous awards competitions throughout the year with the goal of recognizing companies and individuals achieving greatness in the communication world.
The organization conducts three annual competitions.
- Summit Creative Award (Summit SCA - Winter) - Recognizes creative excellence in companies and individuals with billing under $30 million. Includes all media and industries.
- Summit Marketing Effectiveness Award (Summit MEA - Summer) - A unique competitive arena where the judging criteria are based on the core purpose of marketing communications: to change, influence, or reinforce the consumer’s knowledge, attitudes, and beliefs. Creative samples and a short brief are included to evaluation.
- Summit Emerging Media Awards (Summit EMA - Fall) - The Summit EMA is for marketers, coders, designers, developers and innovators in new realms of digital advertising. It offers recognition for introducing new methods, directing and helping to set the pace for emerging media, and demonstrating excellence on the web, through apps, videos, mobile sites and social media. All forms of emerging media are explored.
Companies and individuals from 50+ countries and five continents have participated in its programs. The organization is recognized worldwide as one of the industry’s most prestigious awards as demonstrated by the caliber of its entrants.
