Sahaswan is a city and a municipal board in Budaun district in the Indian state of western Uttar Pradesh.
Demographics
As of 2011 India census,[2] Sahaswan had a population of 66,204 (compared to 58,194 in 2001[3]) showing 13.7% growth in 2001–11. There were 34,467 males and 31,737 females giving a sex ratio of 921 compared to the state average of 912. There were 10,984 children under six (16.59 %). Sahaswan had an average literacy rate of 39.61%, much lower than the state average of 67.58%.
