Stuart Tayler Smith is a New Zealand politician who was elected to the New Zealand parliament at the 2014 general election as a representative of the New Zealand National Party.

Smith is a former chairman of the New Zealand Winegrowers Association. In 2013 he contested the National Party selection for the Kaikōura seat, defeating incumbent Colin King.[1] He was elected at the 2014 election with a majority of 12,570 votes.[2]
