Stirtonia is an extinct genus of New World monkey from the Middle and Late Miocene (Laventan to Huayquerian in the South American land mammal ages; 13.8 to 7.3 Ma). Its remains have been found in South America; Honda Group of Colombia and in Brazil. It is classified in Alouattini with howler monkeys.[1]
