Stephanie Styles is an American actress, singer, and dancer based in New York City.[1] Styles starred as Katherine in the first North American tour of the musical Newsies.[2]

Early life

Born in Houston, Texas, Styles began her theater career at age 6 at Theatre Under the Stars.

Stephanie embarked on her first national tour in 2003, playing the role of Louisa von Trapp in The Sound of Music.[3] Styles then starred as The Rose in The Little Prince, performing at New York City Opera.[4]

Education and career

Styles is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Episcopal High School in Houston.[5]

In 2014, Styles graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BFA from the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre and Dance.[1]

In late May 2014, Styles was cast in the role of Katherine Plumber in Disney's first North American Tour of Newsies.[6]

On October 5, 2015, Styles announced on Instagram [7] that she was leaving the cast of Newsies, along with co-star Dan DeLuca who plays Jack Kelly.

In 2016, Styles will be appearing as "Suz" in Jenny Rachel Weiner's "Kingdom Come" at Roundabout Underground’s Black Box Theatre.[8]

In 2017, Stephanie was cast as "Princess Ann" in ROMAN HOLIDAY: From Producers Paul Blake and Mike Bosner (ON SUNSET BOULEVARD, BEAUTIFUL), in conjunction with San Francisco’s SHN (Greg Holland, Chief Executive Officer) announced principal casting for the pre-Broadway engagement of ROMAN HOLIDAY. Stephanie will take on the iconic Academy Award winning role portrayed by Audrey Hepburn in the classic film.
