Stefanos Voskaridis (Greek: Στέφανος Βοσκαρίδης; born 1 February 1980) is a retired Cypriot football striker. He currently serves as technical director for Cypriot First Division club AEL Limassol.
Career
Born in Paphos, Cyprus, Voskaridis began playing football for Cypriot side Apollon Limassol in 1996. In 1999, he was acquired by Greek Alpha Ethniki side PAOK. He stayed with the club until 2004, twice winning the Greek Football Cup in 2001 and 2003. However, as he was not among the first choices of either Dušan Bajević or Angelos Anastasiadis, who served as managers of the club during Voskaridis' 5-year stint in Thessaloniki, Voskaridis left PAOK and signed with fellow, newly promoted Alpha Ethniki side Ergotelis.[1] He was released by the club after relegation at the end of the season and continued his career in the Beta Ethniki, the second tier of the Greek football league system, featuring for Veria and Kallithea until he returned to Cyprus in the summer of 2008, signing a contract with Anorthosis Famagusta.
During the winter transfer window, Voskaridis, who hadn't featured in a single match for Anorthosis yet, was loaned out to fellow Cypriot First Division club Enosis Neon Paralimni. In the summer of 2009, he signed with Nea Salamis Famagusta. He then moved to AEP Paphos in 2010, where he played until announcing his retirement from professional football.
After his football career ended, Voskaridis has been hired as technical director of Cypriot clubs Aris Limassol and AEL Limassol.[2]
