Staying Alive is a British television medical drama series about several people whose lives are impacted by the HIV. It was produced by LWT, first broadcast on ITV from 1 November 1996 to 3 August 1997. The show stars Alice Timpson (Jessica Hynes), Sue McPherson (Amanda Royle), Michaela Lennox (Susannah Wise) and Philip Curtis (Scott Ransome). A total of twelve episodes aired over the course of ten months. Co-produced and partly filmed in London, it was one of the first ITV dramas to be co-produced with an international production company. Written and created by acclaimed scriptwriter Neil McKay.
The series was ended after two series.
