Stavropol Krai will participate in the Turkvision Song Contest for the first time at the Turkvision Song Contest 2017 to be held in Astana, Kazakhstan. They were originally expected to debut at the 2015 and 2016 contests, but were unable to due to restrictions.
History
On 23 September 2015 it was confirmed that Nogais would make their official Turkvision Song Contest début at the 2015 contest to be held in Istanbul, Turkey.[1] But later on 23 November it was announced that they will be represented as Stavropol Krai.
