"Statuesque" is a song by English Britpop band Sleeper, written by the band's vocalist and guitarist Louise Wener. It was the fourth and final single to be released from their second album The It Girl in 1996 (see 1996 in British music). The single peaked at number seventeen on the UK Singles Chart.[1]
The song is featured in the 1996 film Trainspotting and also appears on the Trainspotting #2: Music from the Motion Picture, Vol. #2, released in 1997.
