Stary Gieląd [ˈstarɨ ˈɡʲɛlɔnt] (German: Alt Gehland) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Sorkwity, within Mrągowo County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 3 kilometres (2 mi) north of Sorkwity, 10 km (6 mi) west of Mrągowo, and 44 km (27 mi) east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
The village has a population of 180.
