Stadionul Ion Oblemeco is a multi-purpose stadium under construction in Craiova, Romania. The stadium's construction started in 2015 and will be finished in the summer of 2017. It will be used mainly for football matches. The Stadium is planned to be all-seater with a capacity of 30,929, with no athletics track.
History
The stadium construction started in 2015 after the old Ion Oblemenco Stadium was demolished.[3] On 26 April 2017, new images with the stadium were posted and the construction is in its last phases, already fitting a part of the seats.[4]
