History

St. Martin’s Engineering college is promoted and managed under St. Martin’s Children’s Educational Society (SMCES) that was established in the year 1982. It was started with a school having student strength of 42, and a unique vision to build a brilliant generation next. As of today, the society has wide spread into four branches from where more than 7,000 students receive quality education. The success backed by the continuous support of parents & students has drive the society to foray into the domain of professional and technical education and thus St. Martin’s Engineering College (SMEC), Hyderabad was established in the year 2002. Currently the student’s intake is 1212 with 6 UG programs and 7 PG programs.

SMEC has been built upon a spacious 14 acres campus, aesthetically designed with lush green landscape. It is located in a pollution free ambience at Dhulapally, Secunderabad at a distance that is just right to shut out the urban pollution while ensuring easy access to the city of Hyderabad.

SMEC is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technology University, Hyderabad (JNTUH) is an ISO 9001-2008 certified.

Admissions-Intake

Admissions are made by the Convenor of EAMCET and ICET on Counselling. The institute also admits under the NRI Category.
