St. Joseph's Indian High School is in Bangalore, India. It was founded in 1904 by the Jesuit priests of St. Ignatius of Loyola. The school held its platinum jubilee celebration in 1979, with film actress Nutan singing at the celebrations – "Nutan Musical Nite". It held its centenary celebrations in 2004, when Fr. Melvin Pinto was the principal.

Programs

The institution consists mainly of the high school, the middle school, the pre-university college and the community college. CAD coaching is also undertaken. The high school has twenty one classes with thirty five students in the "A" sections and seventy and odd students in the other six sections. The school has an active Student Council headed by the Vice-Principal, Mr. Gnanaprakash, and Mr. Paul Vincent, the Sports Secretary. The student council functioning under the leadership of Prakeerth.M, School Pupil Leader and Michael William, Deputy School Pupil Leader. The major events held are the sports day and the cultural fest "Prerana".
Fr.Nobert D'Souza and Fr.Denis Coelho are fondly remembered for being at the foundation, creating eminent personalities.
