Shrimali Brahmins

Shrimali Brahmins originally from Shrimal (the present-day Bhinmal) in Jalore district in the Indian state of Rajasthan.[1]Their Patron goddess is Mahalakshmi. They have fourteen gotras and each gotra has its own kuladevi. They are divided into two different castes, Samvedi Shrimali Brahmins and Yajurvedi Shrimali Brahmins.
