Spectre (also known as House of the Damned)[1] is a 1996 American-Irish horror film directed by Scott Levy and starring Greg Evigan and Alexandra Paul. The film follows an American family who move into an Irish mansion haunted by a multitude of ghosts.

Plot

Two maids are sent to clean Glen Abbey Manor and encounter some creepy occurrences. One maid doesn't make it out alive. The movie then shifts to Will and Maura South, a seemingly happy couple with marital problems and their daughter Aubrey. Maura inherits the mansion and the family moves in. Seeing as how the family isn't superstitious, they don't acknowledge the supernatural threat and try to leave until their daughter is kidnapped by the house's angry spirits. The family then finds the body a young girl named Colleen Laundrigan in their cellar and the plot thickens.
