South Vietnamese presidential election, 1971
Presidential elections were held in South Vietnam on 2 October 1971.[1] After two opposition candidates boycotted the election, incumbent President Nguyễn Văn Thiệu was the only candidate, receiving 100% of the vote.[2] Turnout was reported to be 87.9%.
