Winnie Sorgdrager

Winnie Sorgdrager.

Winnifred (Winnie) Sorgdrager (born 6 April 1948, The Hague) is a Dutch jurist and former politician. She is a member of the social-liberal party D66.[1] Since 1 January 2006 she has been a member of the Council of State of the Netherlands. Previously she was Attorney general and Minister of Justice.

Sorgdrager is also member of the Supervisory Board of the Leiden University Medical Center, Commissioner for the association for the preservation of historic houses of The Netherlands, Vereniging Hendrick de Keyser, and Member of the Board of the Arbo Unie.

Sorgdrager studied law at the University of Groningen.
