The Inyo shrew (Sorex tenellus) is a species of mammal in the family Soricidae.
Distribution
It is endemic to eastern California and to Nevada, in the Western United States.[1]
Until 2006, the known range of this species encompassed east-central California and west-central Nevada, but it has since been found in Great Basin National Park in eastern Nevada and in Lassen Volcanic National Park in northeastern California. [1]
