Sophie Spence (born February 26, 1987) is a female rugby union player. She represented Ireland at the 2014 Women's Rugby World Cup.[1]

Spence previously played Netball. She has a degree in Sport and Exercise and a Masters degree in Sport psychology.[2] She was injured in 2013 while playing sevens rugby and required two hand operations.[3]

In October 2015 she was nominated for Worlds Women's Player of the Year award alongside France captain Gaélle Mignot and New Zealand scrum-half Kendra Cocksedge.
