Sonny Borrelli[2] is an American politician and a Republican member of the Arizona Senate. Borrelli formerly served in the Arizona House of Representatives as a representative of District 5, from January 14, 2013, to January 9, 2017.

In 2001, Borrelli was convicted of domestic violence after, according to the police report, he punched his wife in the face 3 times.[3] Borrelli was sentenced to 10 days in jail and served 1 day.[4] During his 2016 reelection bid, Borrelli was recorded using a stream of profanity to describe his primary opponent, Ron Gould, and his supporters.[5][6]
