Songs I Hope My Mom Will Like is Jonah Matranga's first solo recording, released in 1994. The project started as a present for his mother; however, he eventually started packaging the recording as a cassette and selling it at shows.
The recording was later re-released on the CD Songs From Sacramento, Volumes 1 and 2.
