MacDowell Montessori School
Solomon Juneau Business High School was located in the school building at 6415 W. Mount Vernon Avenue in Milwaukee, Wisconsin before being merged and renamed to become MacDowell Montessori School in 2013.
The school building was built in 1932. It is part of the Milwaukee Public School District. It closed its doors in 2006 after 74 years in operation as a result of decreasing population in the city of Milwaukee. During the 2004-2005 school year the school the school had 917 students.
The school re-opened in late August, 2009 as Milwaukee International Baccalaureate High-school. In the 2012-2013 it was merged with Edward A. MacDowell Montessori School and now serves as a Pre K-12 school.
