Solidarity is a Brazilian social democratic political party who uses the number 77.[2] The party won 14 seats in the 2014 Brazilian general election.

Ideology

The party identifies itself as a centre-left and social democratic.[3]. The party has strong links with Força Sindical, a labour union which historically strong opposes the hegemony of CUT and another more leftists labor movements in favor of a less ideological and more pragmatic approach of "Sindicalismo de Resultados" (Unionism of Results), which means less political ideologies and more direct gains for the working class. The party, however, is accused of being another legend with no ideology and being a mere satellite party of the coalition betwenn Brazilian Social Democracy Party and Democrats
