Social classifieds is a form of classified advertising in the online medium on social networking websites. Most of such advertisements are free for the use of members of the respective social network. Various social networks such as Facebook, MySpace, Orkut and Friendster offer social classified advertisement platforms to allow private individuals to solicit sales for products and services.
