"So Alive" is a song by British alternative rock band Love and Rockets, released in 1989 as the second single from their self-titled fourth album.

Chart success

The single was Love and Rockets' biggest hit in the United States, peaking at number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100[1] and number 1 on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart, where it stayed for five weeks,[2] as well as achieving a peak of number 9 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. It went to number one for two weeks in Canada (RPM Magazine). The single also reached number 79 on the UK Singles Chart,[3] number 24 on the Australian ARIA singles chart,[4] and number 16 in New Zealand.[5]
