Skryptt, born Gerald Achinesu Mandisodza in Harare is a Zimbabwean Hip-Hop and Rap artiste.[1][2]
Early life
Skryptt was raised in Glen View, Harare. He is the last of five siblings, two sisters and two brothers.
Music career
The Zimbabwean hip hop rapper has worked on various solo and collaborated projects across genres. In 2015 he released his mixtape Thief in the Night, on which he features fellow Glen View rappers Nib Crouch, MC Ef-em and more.[3][4] This was a compilation of both his singles and features from that time.
Musical style
Influences
Skryptt is much influenced by what is termed Underground or Conscious type of rap.
Technique
He uses English and Shona in his rap, mostly opting for English. Skryptt has been able to diversify himself to adopt to any style.
