Siridao is a village located in Tiswadi, a taluka of North Goa district in the state of Goa, India.[1][2] In 2011, Siridao had 2,417 residents.[1]
An elected sarpanch administers the governance of Siridao village.[1]
A chapel named the Jesus of Nazareth chapel is located at Siridao.[3] It is located on a hilltop and is several centuries old.[3]
Siridao Beach
Siridao Beach is located at Siridoa village in Siridao, Tiswadi, Goa, India. Siridao Beach is located 7.4 kilometres (4.6 mi) from Panaji.
Siridao Beach is partially rocky and partially sandy.[4] The beach does not contain many tourists, shacks or hotels,[5] but is used by local residents. Fishing is a major occupation for the people living in Siridao village, and along the beach one can see boats that are used by the local fishing community.
The nearest airport is Dabolim Airport which is about 20 kilometres (12 mi) away. The nearest railway station is Karmali railway station, a 20-minute drive away. There is no bus service to this beach so one must use private transport to travel to the beach.
