Silvia Ziche
Silvia Ziche (born 5 July 1967 in Thiene) is an Italian comic book artist and writer.
Silvia Ziche is mainly known for her work on the Italian Donald Duck comics. Her drawing style is simplistic and comical, and includes many funny facial expressions on the characters. She is also popular because she often makes long stories that are published during successive editions of the Italian comic book series Topolino, such as Paperina di Rivondosa,[1] Topokolossal,[2] Il papero del mistero,[3] Il Grande Splash[4] and Papere alla deriva.[5]
As well as Disney comics, Ziche has also worked on other magazines such as Linus, Comix and Cuore. Ziche has won many awards for her work, such as the 1997 Lucca Comics' Panther Award for Best Emerging Author[6] and the 1999 Lucca Comics' Panther Award for Best Designer of Humorous Comics.[7]
