Siemnice [ɕɛmˈnit͡sɛ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Rachanie, within Tomaszów Lubelski County, Lublin Voivodeship, in eastern Poland. It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) north-east of Rachanie, 19 km (12 mi) north-east of Tomaszów Lubelski, and 107 km (66 mi) south-east of the regional capital Lublin.[1]

The village has a population of 390.

History

In 1942, about 70 people of Jewish origin, including elder people and children, were shot.[2]
