Shripad Yesso Naik[2][3] is an Indian politician. He is the Member of Parliament from North Goa constituency representing the Bharatiya Janata Party.[2][3] He is member of Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) Ministry of Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy (AYUSH); Union Minister of State, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

Shripad Naik was born on 4 October 1952 at Adpai village, North Goa District, Goa.

Mr. Naik defined doctors not prescribing Ayurvedic medicine as anti nationals.[8]

Awards

He received the Samaraj Ratna Award on 18 August 2016.[9][10]
