Shisler Avenue station is a former SEPTA Route 102 trolley stop in Aldan, Pennsylvania. It is officially located at Woodlawn and Shishler Avenues. Because trolleys travel in the middle of the street at this stop, there are no sheds or platforms. Parking is not available and commuters must wait on the sidewalks for trolleys. Shisler Avenue itself is a narrow dead-end street with a western terminus at a neighborhood youth baseball field. At the intersection with Woodlawn Avenue it is opposite another athletic field owned by a local school.
Trolleys arriving at this station travel between 69th Street Terminal in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania and Sharon Hill, Pennsylvania. Shisler Avenue was the northernmost stop for the Route 102 line along Woodlawn Avenue before reaching Springfield Road and the Clifton-Aldan regional railroad station along the Media/Elwyn Line.
On March 15, 2010, SEPTA discontinued service to this stop on the 102 trolley route.[1] Customers were instructed to use Springfield Road or Providence Road for Route 102 service to Sharon Hill or 69th Street Terminal.
