List of ships of the Brazilian Navy

This is a list of active ships of the Brazilian Navy, complete and correct as of 2014.

The Navy has approximately 112 ships in commission, including 39 auxiliary vessels. 9 of the commissioned vessels are frigates of British origin and 5 are conventional attack submarines of German origin. Recently the Brazilian Navy has sought modernization through the acquisition of 4 submarines of French manufacture, class Scorpéne, and of the own construction of a nuclear submarine, besides 4 corvettes class Tamandaré and 4 patrol ship of 500 ton.
