Shingo Mimura (三村 申吾 Mimura Shingo, born 16 April 1956) is a Japanese politician and the current governor of Aomori Prefecture in Japan. A native of Momoishi, Aomori and graduate of the University of Tokyo, he was elected to the post in 2003 after serving as mayor of Momoishi, Aomori for one term since 1987 and then in the House of Representatives in the Diet (national legislature) since 2000.
