Reception

In 2016, Gavin Hetherington of SpoilerTV ran a series of Charmed articles in the run-up to the 10th anniversary of the series finale. The second was a complete season review of season two, in which Gavin comments that the season takes things further than season one.[6] On the show's tone, he wrote "I found scenes to be brighter and the show's comical side being more prominent. I loved this season for the tone, and it managed to balance out the lighter episodes with the darker ones." He also noted the chemistry between the leads, saying that "there was also electric chemistry between the three sisters. Before there were bitter fallings-out, Shannen, Holly and Alyssa all demonstrated their sisterly bond authentically, and it really carried through in their performances. They always seemed like sisters, from the very beginning, right up to the end of the original Charmed One era, but for this season, it was probably their absolute best as a trio." He ended the article by saying season two was an "amazing season, and it will always be one of my favourites."
